Forum rules

No flaming, unecessary name calling, racist crap, religious hogwash, spamming, ultra rightwing political bullshit, animal/midget porn links, trolling, cooking recipes that include tofu, requests for help with Windows Vista, alien conspiracy theory nonsense, vampire/goth/punk garbage or mindless ramblings about your theories on an afterlife. Do not use those huge, annoying signature graphics. Upload an avatar, instead. If you need help with this, just ask. Keep your posts on topic. If the topic changes, start a new thread. Pay attention to how the forums are organized, and post your questions and comments to the appropriate forum.

The Folding@Home project studies protein folding and misfolding and its relationship to various childhood diseases, in the hope of discovering new cures and treatments. The project is perhaps the best managed, most stable distributed computing project out there. They have excellent code developed by professional programmers and seldom have the constant server problems so common with many of the BOINC projects.

The Guru Mountain team number is 52363 and it is this number that you use to join the team on this project.

Here is the link to our team statistics page at Folding@Home:

The project has both CPU and GPU applications.
